Greatest note i seen on a car was " I have accidentally scraped your car and now im pretending to write my number down because some people seen me do it and are now watching me! Sorry!"
Very funny, but also kinda sad. I once clipped the side mirror off a parked car by accident, so I pulled over and left a note under the wiper apologizing for the damage and giving my name and number. My kids were with me, and I wanted to be sure to model responsible behavior (though I would have done it anyway). That evening the car's owner called me, thanked me for my honesty and refused to accept any payment!
