The president has taken an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. Not "preserve, protect, ignore, or burn when desired."
harryandersonSep 10, 2010
he should be taken for save the Constitution.

Pretty much.
SatansAdvocateSep 10, 2010
true, but bibles are burnt all the time, especially by teenage punks who are angry at their daddies. anti-christian sentiment is already strong in the US. you have satanic churches and genres of music practically dedicated to defaming christianity, so this area is covered.

I was unsure about this article until I got to the part about burning lil' wayne's lyrics. I'm all for that. Don't get me wrong, I love good hip-hop.... but that guy just straight up sucks.

Hitler burned all kinds of books by Jews, communists or simply people who disagreed. So the sky is the limit when it comes to burning books.
hipmanSep 10, 2010
Do you not get that this kind of comment doesn't work?.All it means is you've lost the argument.
kaptainkorgothSep 10, 2010
I may be wrong here, but the article states the Constitution, "said soldiers can squat in our homes." But isn't there a little part of the Bill of Rights which forbid the quartering of soldiers in our homes?
mranostaySep 10, 2010
yeah the 3rd amendment... no idea wtf the article's author is on..
nickymouseSep 10, 2010
Your right! Also, the 3/5 law was in place to prevent the south from using slaves to gain political power in the federal government and overturning the practice of importing slaves. The 3/5 law was not racist, contrary to this dumb ass authors believe.

And we wonder why the rest of the world thinks we're retarded & immature. This is just embarrassing. It's great how the media has turned more & more people anti-Muslim. This is how wars are created.
neotechniSep 10, 2010
The rest of the world thinks we're retarded/immature because the kuran teaches xenophobia/misogyny, and instead of banning it like Mein Kampfe, the best we can do is burn a few copiesComment is buried, click here to see the rest.
dumptakerSep 10, 2010
That was a very poor attempt at satire.
