Yes, we believe she took an extended vacation and won't be back for a very, very long time.
cawpinAug 4, 2010
Gee, imagine that; AmyVernon submitted a dupe of a story.

meribianAug 4, 2010

dbossnirvanaAug 4, 2010
It's their way of saying goodbye by doing one last practical joke.

Don't worry. She's just a ninja.
elliotysAug 4, 2010

kirakunAug 4, 2010
She could not have been a ninja, because otherwise both of you could not have finished your co
polarbearfireAug 4, 2010
Maybe she transferred her consciousness into a computer like that movie Tron. So she's still alive but living like a spirit or ghost in the the machine.
stevethegreatAug 4, 2010
Consciousness can't be transferred silly you; it's the emergent property of the waking brain; no brain no consciousness, even if you were to emulate the processes of the brain...
I believe that what happened instead was/is that she actually poses as the daughter, after killing her of course so that she'll get twice the pension. As for how she can pose like a 79 years young woman, it's because she was drinking the blood of virgins for the last 50 years, I'm sure of it...
punkcatAug 4, 2010
i thought this whole thing strange until i read the last line about pension funds being paid out. no wonder the government wants to meet these people face to face.
rikfAug 4, 2010
That was in the case from last week. This lady seems to have been doing the reverse - paying out for insurance in the belief (hope) that her mother might still need it.
darkmagusAug 4, 2010
Just roll her old bones on over here, and I'll dig up your daughter.
thatsnotpuddingAug 4, 2010
"We lost our grandmother ten years ago. She just started walking, and we don't know where the hell she is now."
akchrsAug 4, 2010
It just so happens that the oldest woman in Tokyo is only MOSTLY dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive.
d0kken_Aug 4, 2010
The bitch is dead
hexrrAug 4, 2010
Back to the mothership I believe
zerocubedAug 4, 2010
So maybe Japan doesn't have as many old people as they thought?
Don't they do a census there like we do here?
cyborg31Aug 4, 2010
Their families (children) don't report their death and continue claiming their parent's old age pension.
I guess they just take their word for it.
iwashere2Aug 4, 2010
pension scam.

Sushi sales plummet 90% as everyone realizes the Japanese don't actually outlive Americans and our bacon-laden diet!
imarascalAug 4, 2010
he lazy asses kept the body concealed so that they could collect the benefits of the deceased. They should be made to work 40 hours a week, without pay, doing janitorial work in the prison. 5 years would be good!Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
reddfoxx1562Aug 4, 2010
Concealing a body is much more difficult than whatever s**tty job you've got.

Unfortunately, it's not a title promotion.
