The thing that's kind of stupid about this contest is that, in the end, the scale is what matters. Which still doesn't say anything about their beauty (inside or out).
FTA: "But the crucial moment in the contest was the weigh-in, stepping onto a huge red scale where everyone could see the result - with the roundest beauty clinching the title."
Side note: If there were some Americans in that contest, the Italians wouldn't have a shot at the title.
