Dogs don't love. You are humanizing them. Dogs are pack animals. The "love" they show is just survival instinct. They view you as master and act according. I actually worked at a bookstore in OK where the owner of the dog tried to bring her into the store. We had to ask her to leave because Faith is not a registered work dog and only work dogs are allowed inside of businesses and Restaurants for the most part. The owner became furious with us over it. We apologized to her and tried to not embarrass her or make a scene but she still threw a colossal fit. She called all of the papers and the local tv stations in an attempt to make us look bad but city policy on animals is city policy. The whole situation sort of made the owner out to be this attention monger but it's good to see she is helping inspire people with her dog.
