As far as relationships go, you're correct.
However, men still make 100 to the 74-78 cents that a woman does. Men still typically hold the prestige. Women have more rights than ever in most European/American countries, but they are still very much on the short end of the stick otherwise, if you'll pardon the expression.

That's because for every 100 minutes a man works a woman is taking 22 - 26 minutes off because she has PMS, one of her kids needs to unexpectedly be picked up from school, etc. and/or she is working a less difficult job or lower position job.
