DivineCaroline... I remember how I first discovered this site through Digg, and now I see it from Digg, digg, and digg.
hangglideSep 6, 2010
Wow digg has changed. This story made the front page with only one comment and 42 diggs. Maybe I am doing it wrong?
hipmanSep 6, 2010
How exactly did it work before?.The algorithm never made sense....
c_calienteSep 6, 2010
Digg v4 is a user repellent
rayco5Sep 6, 2010
Wow all the stories on the front page have less than 20 comments...this place is so dead.

Sorry, I don't like mosquito. I can't sleep silently
realmadpuppySep 6, 2010
wow, Kevin Rose gets what he deserves, I only logged on to Laugh at Mr. Rose and his sellout staff.
realmadpuppySep 6, 2010
one more thing, I think Kevin Rose should be tarred and "feathered" by all that sellout VC money and sent out of town on a rail.
Digg is about as popular as Curcuit City's divx scam to sell pay per view dvd's.

WOW Digg RuLezzz!!! LOL! Weeeeeee!!!
robozillaSep 6, 2010
Digg sucks. And I've had a Digg bottle opener in my wallet for 2 years. It's a f**king awesome bottle opener. Now wtf. I hope Reddit gets some bottle openers, that's really all its missing.
But yeah, this article is about f**king mosquito repellent. Digg over.
nstern2Sep 6, 2010
They could fix a whole bunch of the suck if they just let us block domains from ever hitting our front page. It's not like they are going to get rid of the rss autosubmit BS.
f**k devinecaroline and its auto spam bulls**t. Also just because I hate them f**k totalprosports as well.

Just use DEET assh**es.
thechadwickSep 6, 2010
Hey idiot who wrote the article... Just because something is natural doesn't mean it won't cause brain damage.
pgm_01Sep 6, 2010
They also missed the best plant based repellent. Repel Lemon Eucalyptus actually works, DEET keeps bugs further away but Lemon Eucalyptus unlike most of the organic crap, actually works. The most common bug killer on the market are pyrethrins which are a plant extract and I wouldn't say that consumption of that is good for you. Arsenic is natural too, and it will kill you. Natural does not mean good and manufactured does not necessarily mean bad. Each chemical should be looked at based on what it does and how it effects the environment not on where it originated.

DEET actually WORKS Nothing else does. Unless you live in Alaska, where the mosquitoes get so big you can carry a pistol and shoot them!!
funhunter1Sep 6, 2010
Soy bean oil? Really?
twinbaby02Sep 7, 2010
Is there any alternatives that can use as mosquito repellants?
crom85Sep 9, 2010
One smart thing to not do is shower using soap and shampoo!
Samantha_GreenSep 7, 2010
I think this is really interesting.IT just goes to show how simply things can be solved. What does everybody else think?
injvsticeSep 7, 2010
Catnip? Sure, it may work to repeal the mousquitos... but I'd rather suffer a few mosquitos bites than lead a parade of cats aound the neighborhood on my morning jog.
zentraedieliteSep 8, 2010
This article is just fear mongering. I suppose is you live in an environment where you have to use bug spray every day this would be of concern to you. I highly doubt the effects of using DEET infrequently even exist.
