I finally figured out where all the school bullies get jobs when they grow up.

Its high time that the nonsense stop regarding the TSA...We have to change policies and use sense (I know, neither of these two words belong in the same sentence with a government run agency). How about the TSA actually start using common sense and politeness, those two things will go a long way. Instead what we have are a bunch of rude non-thinking robots at our airports. How about we start at the top, fire the current idiots and put an entire new program in place and retrain everyone all over again for starters...

why not just have the item's prechecked, and then just sign them off as a medical need.
They would still need a medical history that requires diabetes.
Probably have a background check.
and that could easily save time and money if people are prepared enough for it.

Again another TSA...

Hopefully the government will run out of money to fund these Nazi's.

These are all things you need to consider before flying while pregnant.
Flying is not a right.
rifficAug 6, 2011
What the f**k? These are definitely not things you need to consider while flying. The TSA has NO business messing with your medicine.

The airlines are not a government entity. They are private companies. They should be able to choose their own security measures just like every other business.
The last time someone went postal and shot up an office, we didn't create a government entity to force security onto businesses. We respected their right to procure their own security if they choose to do so. Same thing should apply with airlines. Many passengers will choose the airline with tough security because they feel safer, many will choose convenience.
Flying may not be a right, but a private business choosing it's own security measures should be.

This is a good idea. I support that. Sadly in the Airport they all get mixed up. More sadly, TSA seems to strive to be more dangerous than any fool terrorist.
cantstopwontstopAug 6, 2011
I'll take it one step further and say flying is a right, just a right that can be revoked.
When you pay money to fly, you pay for the right to fly.
xophermvAug 6, 2011
We as a democratic society get to decide what are reasonable actions for the government to perform. If a majority of us decide that the TSA overstepped its bounds, then the TSA overstepped its bounds. The TSA needs to change, not society.
Further, I'd also state that if a majority of us decide that flying is a right, then flying is a right.
travelsonicAug 6, 2011
You are an idiot.
Choosing to do business with a legitimate business entity, and the ability to travel freely without government interference IS A f**kING RIGHT .
THIS IS THE f**kING GOVERNMENT DOING THIS and not a private business' actions - FURTHER if a private business took another person's insulin they'd STILL BE WHOLLY LIABLE, can't you people spouting this unoriginal garbage GET THAT BASIC FACT RIGHT?
