Why hasn't this happened yet?

Pharmy corps and outdated socially conservative propaganda.
blinker1315Oct 18, 2011
This is bipartisan cowardice on the part of politicians. What Democrat (forget the GOP) has come out in favor legalization, even though the revenue it'd bring in would be enormous? Baltimore mayor Kurt Schmoke did in the mid-90s and was excoriated for it, by fellow politicians and the media. He never recovered politically.

correct

Pharma's put money in anti drug propaganda to balance their own pro-drug stances. They still lose high profit drugs occasionally, not just quaaludes and speed. Potential high sellers like clinical ecstasy can't even be brought up to the FDA and pharma knows it.
I think it's mostly inertia and fear among politicians as blinker1315 said.
Here's a thought though, all the trouble in California is forcing the issue to the front pages. This is a very good thing. Almost planned wouldn't you say?

Legalize, Tax, Regulate! Put cannabis in the hands of responsible adults and take it out of the hands of kids. Give the profits to American farmers and the taxes to state and federal government! End the foolish and miserable failed "drug war" against the American people.
Cannabis is the #1 cash crop world wide. Having it be illegal is like making wheat illegal! Regulate cannabis like wine!

kids are going to get it one way or another, did the 21 year old drinking age ever stop you? It comes down to parenting to be honest.
djguerrillaOct 18, 2011
a 'Record High'. LOL. Sounds like good s**t. Totally just joking. Its great to see public opinion starting to change on this......legalization/decriminalization can't get here soon enough.....cheers, dj

revfelixnwosuOct 18, 2011
let it be urgent on government to do something to alliviate the suffering of the mss .because to me is sign of frustration.and the are looking for a way to cushion the pressure of life around them. once again government should do something than legalization of marijuana that would be madness in the LAND.
razorsfuryOct 18, 2011

CornermanOct 18, 2011

Marijuana is as harmless as drinking water... wait it's less harmful than water, you can drown from a teaspoon of it. not one individual has overdosed from marijuana
razorsfuryOct 18, 2011
you are against a proper sentence too apparently.
