Thanks for the heads up, but I'll keep looking for it...
norman619Jan 22, 2012
Yes. We all need to continue the search. It is for science after all!

sex....the most rewarding research of all...

The G-spot may or may not exist, but its a hell of a lot of fun looking for one.
One of those times when trying to prove a negative doesn't seem so bad.

Never expected that my digg would be top news!

"Many women swear they have one, but a new review of 60 years of sex research shows science still can't definitively find the G-spot."
Is this an Onion article?

gkiltzJan 22, 2012
Because it's not the same place for everybody!!
myztryJan 22, 2012
Oh, poor idiots. Nobody ever said it was discreet anatomic entity. They disproved something they made up. It's a "spot" referring to an area.
I suppose we can decree "ticklish spots" to be non-existent as well since they aren't discreet anatomic entities either...
In all likelyhood, the G-spot manifests in the brain like in a manner like "playing harmonics" on the guitar. An artefact effect using a "material" no different than normal.
Find the right spot, which they fail whaled on, and you'll get a harmonic like sound. A scalpel won't help with that...

This study must have been conducted by a bunch of virgins.
IxodoiJan 22, 2012
Or men.
ninhJan 22, 2012
You don't send monkeys to look for truffles, so don't send scientists to look for the G-spot.
arkzJan 22, 2012
sure it does. its called the prostate!
rudegarJan 22, 2012
guess it should be female gspot then
norman619Jan 22, 2012
The c**toris is more likely since it is VERY sensitive and it actually encircles the vagina. When it's excited it gives the vagina a "hug" allowing the penis or whatever is being inserted to stimulate it even more.
empepJan 22, 2012
Nah, science won't work on sex... have a sex have fun... make her satisfied... I'm satisfied, that's all.. No need to trace that G-spot stuff -_-
Mhmd10Jan 22, 2012
Wheres Da Gs At!
alienmushroomJan 21, 2012
Oh we didn't find it, so it must not be there. Guess what, these "researchers" got small penises.
MadocComadrinJan 22, 2012
They're saying they didn't find any specific organ or specific tissue. They do actually support the G-spot being a certain area where various organs (such as the c**toral "back-end"--for lack of a better term--or the Skeene's gland) come closer to the vaginal wall. That actually explains why some women don't feel any different sensation from G-spot pleasure.
norman619Jan 22, 2012
Have you had any luck in finding your brain?
abdulnJan 25, 2012
"Many women swear they have one, but a new review of 60 years of sex research shows science still can't definitively find the G-spot."
Most scientists couldn't find a woman's c**tioris either, yet women have them.
First they said woman couldn't squirt, but of course it's proven they can.
Then some idiot researchers claim that women don't have G-spots, and yet many women have already found theirs. As a matter of fact, if women didn't have G-spots, then the practice of getting a Botox injection over the G-spot for inceased intensity wouldn't work... Yet it does.
This seems like a case where they can't find conslusive evidence, so rather than reevaluating their method or data, they just assume they have proven it doesn't exist... In my world we call that lazy.
kantspelwriteJan 23, 2012
This research and article must have been done by a virgin man. Of course it exists.
acidfairyyJan 23, 2012
I beg to differ.
katzenbachJan 23, 2012
Really?? If it doesn't exist, then what the hell is that bump that gets women to orgasm?
ravnockJan 23, 2012
They are loosers. Give me a second ladies!
shiroboiJan 22, 2012
I read this as, "Group of nerdy scientists can't locate a part of the female sexual anatomy".
cantstopwontstopJan 22, 2012
as a ladies man and sex machine, I can assure you the female g-spot exists.
drcrankJan 22, 2012
I've been on that mystic quest for years, and once in a while, I'm certain I've found it, only to lose it again the next time. It's like freakin' Shangri-La.
jarysmJan 22, 2012
"we can't find it, therefore it does not exist" is an illogical stance. I am mot taking this article or it's claims that seriously.
jlodyga083Jan 22, 2012
damn I would have loved to be "in" on the research .
jpurdyJan 22, 2012
60 years of surveys, imaging scans and biopsies? No wonder they haven't found anything.
joe2therevengeJan 22, 2012
Yeaaaaaaah ummm what about all those studies that claim there is an area full of nerve endings in a particular part of the vagina? Are all of those wrong now?Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
