I hate the 4th of July. When I was 8, I was at a pyrotechnic show near Seattle, there was a misfire and one of the aerial fireworks exploded next to me. I was not badly hurt but remain afraid of loud noises to this day. What a whiner, it has only been 40 years! But has saved me a fortune in fireworks!
