Have no taste? There isn't a single car in that price/performance segment except maybe the Nissan GTR, which is even more generic and ugly than the 'vette.
Your only other alternative to Vette performance is an Italian super car that costs two to three times as much.

This article can be misleading. The only reason sales are up on the Corvette are because of the current rebate incentives due to the economy. When the economy is good, Corvette sales drop because GM won't offer any incentives to prompt consumers to buy.
