Did you know that Thomas Edison was a worthless assh**e who stole anything worthwhile from Tesla. "i did not fail i found 2000 ways not to make a light bulb". He didnt even invent the lightbulb, he just switched some material in the middle of it. He basically did the work of an 1800s grad student. WORTHLESS. Wizard of Menlo Park my ass. Dont get me started on pushing DC power... Good call you worthless fool.

So glad you wrote this, AJ. Edison WAS a tool. He was friends with Henry Ford. Enough said. Both of them give Americans and inventors bad names. Electrocuting an elephant to sway public opinion against alternating current...what a dick.

Edison's true innovation was the creation of the invention factory, a large scale industrial research laboratory. Most of the inventions credited to Edison were the result of the work of teams of people including Edison himself. One of the inventions that came out of the factory was the first commercially viable electric light bulb. An invention that changed the world.

One thing we can learn from Edison is to keep trying even after numerous failures. Yes, he did have a lot of failures, but he also had a lot of successes!
