Migraines are also connected to mitral valve prolapse. If you've got any kind of measurable valve regurgitation, heavy exercise can definitely trigger symptoms like vascular headaches.

So basically, just keep exercising on a daily basis and you won't get headaches while you exercise. What a no-brainer.

I usually get a headache after a run of more than 60 minutes if I don't have some sports drink afterward. Gatorade seems to help them not happen.

IANAD (I Am Not A Doctor), but if you are sedentary a good portion of the day and develop the occasionaly blood clot from that inactivity, doesn't strenuous exercise also have a tendency to loosen those clots and get 'em moving around the body (where they can potentially end up in your skull)?
Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but I thought this was the case... and I've figured that that's what was happening to me on a few occasions where I suddenly decided I needed a good workout after being a static lump of flesh for too many days in a row. That'd be another good reason to get up and move around more often than most people who sit in front of a computer all day probably do.
