"Banksy is from the Bristol, UK. "
But not all stencil art /graffiti is done by Banksy, this is tagged by Mogul.
shoebox639Aug 3, 2010
Hey, Justin Bieber here. What's German? We don't speak that in America.
elbeardeAug 3, 2010
Not every piece of graffiti on the Berlin wall is in German.
ayeroxorAug 4, 2010
So, just to recap, every piece of Berlin graffiti on a German wall was written in American by Justin Bieber.

^^^Not really. It isn't like Banksy created the overall aesthetic, his work just popularized it and was the most clever.

Looking at the behavior of many political leaders, it's easy to conclude that government itself isn't to be trusted.
Since Ronald Reagan successfully redefined the US federal government as "the problem, not the solution," we've been told that government is basically wasteful and ineffective - if not crooked - while business is dynamic and effective, the best way to protect liberty and produce wealth.
However, we need to move beyond fear of government. Clearly, we need some guidance, to ensure health and freedom for all, and deal with arms proliferation, malnutrition, toxic materials, and genetic engineering, among other problems. Rather than continuing to accept the myth that government is inherently evil, let's work for effective and participatory governance, a high authority that nurtures children, helps poor regions develop along sustainable lines, and defines and enforces global standards of human rights.

Looking at history it's impossible for me to come to any conclusion other than "government can't be trusted". Reagan was right, and in spades.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
zaynexzandersAug 3, 2010
Dugg for liking Reagan. Liberals are too arrogant to ignore your comment though so they bury it
notthatnoiseAug 3, 2010
The only reason people liked Reagan was his personality. all of his policies have been proven disastors.
This is the man who while apologizing for selling weapons to Iran, refused to actually admit it happened. It was the worst apology I've ever seen, he was either lying or too stoned to know what was going on.
azarael101Aug 3, 2010
Lol Reagan - Preached cutting taxes yet raised them. Preached small government but grew it. He said up was down and down was up and did it with a cowboy hat so some people loved him..even though he was a Hollywood actor....
@guy who said to just look at history to see government cant be trusted. You do realize that no government in history is like ours right? That the U.S is the currently the oldest and longest living democratic government in history. So I ask you..what does the cake have to do with pie?
shauncorleoneAug 12, 2010
"also, government is fine, its the people in it that are the problem."
I hope this was sarcasm. If not, I fear for anyone who listens to you.
dvoshartAug 3, 2010

danj484Aug 3, 2010
Read Tom Robbins' Skinny Legs and All. In it, the painters' contention was that art was dead, and that all new art is just a copy of something that came before. Thus, to copy something directly would be a statement of this trend, and would thus be an artform in itself.

Compromise, by its very nature, is nothing anyone wants. The saddest thing about civilization is that there is always this underlying tension where one group would gladly destroy the other, without hesitation, if only it could.
There's few things sadder than watching someone, whenever the slightest opportunity appears for him to make gains, him pressing for them as if the very gates of hell had been opened. You can see so easily how he was never human all along, but merely animal.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
