Those poor kids. Six years from now they'll disappointingly discover that they're dead, and nothing leading up to that point really mattered. Then they'll see a small epilogue, which will explain a couple things, but they'll still be left with the annoying reminder that NO ONE KNOWS WHY WALT IS SO SPECIAL AND FEATURING HIM IN THE EPILOGUE JUST MAKES THE VIEWERS EVEN MORE ANGRY.

Walt was taken in earlier episodes as was all baby and children because the longer you're on the island the more electromagnetic resistance you build up, which was a threat to MIB and the others where MIB's pawns.

Yes it is in the brochure. There's also a bar at the end of the beach with the daily flight schedule written in chalk on a surfboard. And topless women drink for free. It really doesn't get any better.

Having been there myself, it was most definitely in the brochure.
My (now) wife and I stayed at a hotel right near the beach in question, we'd sit by the pool and watch planes come in.

I stayed at that hotel when I was younger. We would watch people on the beach from the patio while we ate breakfast. Most people would clear off the beach when a plane was taking off, but some crazies stayed behind to have themselves get blown into the surf by the jet blast.

I was there, it looks much lower in this picture than it really is. The exciting part is when a plane takes off. The jet engines blow all the sand at 100 mph right at you.
