Grafitti artists are just that. "Style Wars" does a good job of differentiating between taggers/vandals and the real artists. It's nice to see these highly skilled painters finally get recognized for their talent.
If I ever own a building with a large brick wall, I'm going to do whatever is needed to make sure it's graffiti artist friendly. The underside of a bridge near my University has a similar concept and I always love seeing the new creations each year.
Somehow I knew that there'd be some Banksy art in there. Funny how his anti-establishment art has gotten so mainstream and popular that it almost makes the concept a little ironic.

I wonder how many ancient cave drawings that we hold so much esteem for were actually just some punk caveman kid's graffiti. Makes you wonder if 10,000 years from now future archaeologists will unearth a public restroom and decode our entire society based on what is written on the stall doors.
f**k Banksy. Why is it that every single one of these "examples of graffiti art" always show Banksy and then a bunch of really s**tty graff. At least they got Mac in there, but damn, where are the letters?

A lot better than the usual "I was here" or pot leaf!

I don't think permanent marker on a park bench should really count as 'graffiti'.

At what point does it stop being graffiti and becomes a mural?
Seriously, I consider most of these to be artwork.

While Banksy does some cool things from time to time, he's also extremely overrated.
