I really hope they either cut the repetitive character dialogue, or greatly increase the sayings each character has. I don't want to listen to the same three phrases every time I kill a zombie. Also, it pisses me off that the character in this video is still wearing heels. Overall the game looks like it's coming along nicely though.
tenecursumMay 30, 2011
I totally agree. You can also here the background characters speaking the same phrases every 10-15 seconds. It gets annoying after a while.

Get out of here, Stalker!
Dr0pCMay 31, 2011
thats only because the game is still in development you guys.
townidiotMay 30, 2011
I read an interview from one of the game designers that said that your character progressively 'grows balls'. Meaning, When you start the game, your character is going to freak out a lot more when zombies come at your and you start killing zombies. When you reach closer to the end of the game you build more confidence and bad assery so I don't think it's going to be terribly repetitive with the dialog.

There's no end to them.

I looks great so far I've been looking forward to this title for a while. it needs some more polishing though. On a side note since i've been playing L.A. Noire It really makes the facial Animations on other games look extra stiff...They've really raised the bar.
sotoninMay 30, 2011
really? cause the commercial they keep playing on hulu makes la noire look like utter s**t.... The graphics look terrible and the voice acting sounds terrible as well.
dudeabides420May 30, 2011
it's not
sotoninMay 30, 2011
That's good news. they really need to make a new commercial then. It really does like awful
norman619May 30, 2011
I got LA Noire for my PS3. It isn't as great as people seem to make it out to be. The voice acting is wooden. The facial animation isn't too bad though for a console.
kobainsghost1May 30, 2011
The gameplay and story is a bit too slow for my tastes and it is lacking in the action department but I don't think it can be denied that the animation techniques they use make other games look even the more unnatural by comparison.
norman619May 30, 2011
If you are comparing it to other console games then yeah i agree. As for the game play I was expecting a bit more from it. It does get pretty boring after a while. I was expecting a GTA level of action. I don't think I'm going to keep playing. Will prob trade it in. It will be the first game I actually do trade in ever. I tend to keep the games I buy.
kobainsghost1May 30, 2011
I don't know if I was expecting GTA levels of action but I'm finding it difficult love. Its taking me forever to get through and I usually tear through the games I like. I bought it on day one but im gonna finish it up b4 i turn it in.
cyberdactylMay 30, 2011
L.A. Noire is basically Mafia II, but playing for the good guys.

...after 5 minutes I set myself free...
theuniqueoneMay 30, 2011
Trailer was better than real game :) But real game looks fine too :)
drthunderMay 31, 2011
No Zombie hordes? There were at most 5 zombies at a time.
ubernewtMay 31, 2011
Looks pretty interesting, can't wait to see the final cut.
Hopefully they make the zombies a threat at some point.
GamrzzMay 31, 2011
looks great, not sure if i will buy however
arrestedeveloprMay 31, 2011
Some things looked good, some, bad.
killerhamMay 30, 2011
The game looks like its missing the intense feeling from of swarms of zombies. But then again only 20 minutes of gameplay...
fhm316May 30, 2011
Explosive knifes? damn good
RedLeader1987May 30, 2011
Did anyone else notice how poor looking the reload animation was? I also noticed a lot of clipping when getting knocked down. I mean I know this isn't the final product, but yeesh.
