WAW comes nowhere near L4D what so ever. Treyarch are the absolute worst and have yet to release a game that isn't laughable. They're all about appeasing the 12 year old kids (who shouldn't even have acces to the games,) by including vehicles and (in the new one) remote control car bombs. It's pathetic.

I didn't hear about that. But I don't really want a cheapo RC car. :/ I'll bet you they'll jsut go to the cheapest RC car manufacturer in China. That's what they always do. If the game is any good, it would be much cooler to mod a nice RC car.

I'm hoping that you'll just be able to shoot them if you manage to see them coming in time. Honestly, I think it's way too over-powered for a three killstreak. It'd work better if the RC car option took the place of your grenades or something *and* only activated at 3 kills.

As much as I enjoyed Nazi Zombies I won't be buying Black Ops because CoD has become the lamest franchise in the entire industry and its obvious that it's nothing but a cash cow releasing a new game every year and expensive map packs every 2 or 3 months.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

The games are good, albeit unoriginal and it's the consumers who are to blame for the map packs. As long as people keep paying out of their asses for them, they will keep releasing them.

I liked the Stimulus map pack. I love playing on every single one of those maps. I can't stand the last one though. Vacant is the most retarded map ever, Fuel is way, way too big, Carnival is underwhelming (but a fun idea, I'll grant them that), and Trailer Park is decent. I ended up just deleting the map pack a few weeks ago so I wouldn't have to play on the maps anymore. It seems like the matchmaking system is weighted to put players on the new maps far more often than not, which is annoying since it meant I rarely played any of the regular or Stimulus maps.
$15 is far too steep though. As far as I can work out, the two maps per pack that they port over from COD4 aren't really changed except to get them to run in the new game. I mean, when Bungie released favorite maps from past games for Halo 3, they didn't just copy and paste them over; they completely re-imagined them. So essentially you're paying $15 for three original maps, which is pricey. I'd be happy to pay $15 if the two carry-over maps had actual work put into them. At $3/map, that's not bad at all.

I'm afraid I'll have to buy this game. After CoD: WaW I sweared I'd never buy another CoD from Treyarch, but the return of the chance to kill Zombies on a never ending-waves basis got me.

Hate to be skeptical, but what if they release the maps as just maps for their standard multiplayer, i.e. no zombies? I'd love to see zombies back as much as anyone, but I've been disappointed by game offers before (especially the lame pre-order ones from Amazon and Gamestop), and Call of Duty has made some missteps in the past (PC multiplayer?)

The option to have the old maps from previous CODS I've bought. I've paid for the maps once I don't give a crap about giving them a lick of paint I just want to be able to play the old maps and new ones without having Activision asking me for more money.
