Goldeneye may have been the best game ever made, but it has not aged well. I will be surprised if memories of this game don't get ruined by being re-released.

You know it's a remake by a completely different company(Eurocom), and basically has nothing to do with the original besides the name and some story stuff, right? I'm not saying it's going to be bad because of that or anything...I'm just saying you shouldn't be expecting the original game.

Activision isn't making the game...they are just publishing. It's being developed by Eurocom. Not that that means it's going to be good or anything.

No it isn't still one of the best shooters. It was back in the day. Probably the best. (Though Duke Nukem 64 has my heart for most fun shooter on the console) but now? Please. Even the repackaged CoD clones are easily better.

3DS is due in the next 6 months, march at the latest. Official word is North American release in Q1 of 2011, but if Sony makes a move I expect Nintendo to push it up closer to the Japanese Holiday launch.

Yes, Sony is working on a Android PS phone, if it comes out this year I think Nintendo will have just enough pressure to move things up. They have a hit on their hands with a 3DS, and more money than god, it would be unwise to risk Sony and Apple locking up any more of the market.

I don't see why not. You don't have to be #1 in a market to turn a profit. The PSP has still outsold the PS3 and 360. 60 million units is nothing to be ashamed of.

PSP is fine hardware wise, it's just that they aren't making any money on software. That's why it doesn't get much support outside of some JRPGs and another notable game here and there. Peace Walker didn't meet expectations IIRC, and Ghost of Sparta probably won't either. That's why the hardware is still so expensive, to make up for the money they aren't making from pirates.
Sony will probably give the handheld market another shot, there is a lot of potential, they just have to make a more secure system.

For those of you who don't know Nintendo doesn't just make games but they also make, a box you hook up to your TV that lets you play the games called a Wee. In fact when they released it lots of people thought the name was funny but it's actually meant to indicate that they have little kids games because Nintendo is famous for that for example they have a game called Mario.

Thanks kindly for the stellar synopsis of the issues at hand. While on the one hand you drew attention to the fact that Nintendo makes family friendly products, you also illustrated that it is known for some adult titles. I also appreciate that you explained some details of how to operate the various products including the game disk and the device.
Wee 2 might be a good title for a sequel device but also WeeWee might be acceptable. I do think you're right and they will probably release the new version of their system within the next months or so with the release of the games for the old system.
