Worms Armageddon is so addictive. Our replay folder at work has like 1000+ games.
kimballjJun 27, 2010
No one else liked Worms II better? I felt like they nerfed the ninja rope way too much in Armageddon.
hastyboomJun 25, 2010
Buried for starting the list in 1991.
hastyboomJun 26, 2010
????? Bury? I was playing video games in the 70s!

We used to have about 5-6 friends over for LAN parties playing Duke Nukem. Man those where the fun days. Holo Duke and shrink reay FTW. BNC cable sucked tho..
golgothaJun 26, 2010
I remember those LAN parties. When everyone spent 85% of the time getting unlicensed Novell drivers to work with your BNC adapters and 15% of the time actually playing games. Worth it though!
Other popular games at those very early LAN parties were:
Blood
C&C original
Warcraft (original)
antdudeJun 27, 2010
IPX/SPX right? Can they be played today on the Internet and LAN without it? Do we still use Kali (still have it!!)? :P
smicklesJun 26, 2010
Very accurate.
Worms Armageddon is an awesome game that everyone should still be playing.
pdkidJun 26, 2010
I really enjoyed that game and was glad to find hedgewars so I can basically play worms on any platform.
arschgaudiJun 26, 2010

OK whoever wrote this was NOT playing games in 1991. You do not quit lemmings because you move onto games that you can kill things. Anyone who played lemmings knows the most fun was getting them all to blow themselves up in large masses.
lokee73Jun 26, 2010
Dugg for "I haven't"

I still have the bright yellow floppy disk of the original lemmings...

Have you guys heard of Worms: Reloaded? A new 2D PC worms game that will be released on Steam? It's in beta right now.

What about Red Alert/Command & Conquer? That game was a blast back when it was simplistic, now its for to complex to want to play.
saehildJun 27, 2010
There is a problem with this chart–it's that I never quit Starcraft.
megalomatthewJun 27, 2010
And the only way I'll quit Diablo II is Diablo III
craigreedJun 27, 2010

Well if you were to tell me those were the games you played while growing up I'd have just smacked ya. I was more of a Commander Keen, Mechwarrior 2, Outwars, Unreal Tournament player.

Some very true statements there lol
