The problem is that with Digg, you're not getting a real cross section of society. As evidenced by the top ten, its largely liberal, technology oriented, non-christians. I dont know about Reddit or Del.icio.us, though. If digg gained wide acceptance on the level of myspace or youtube then there would be a valid story here. Maybe, though, since again youd be looking at a primarily young demographic. Any way you cut it, a good cross section of society is not going to be found.
