I'm guessing Jennie wasn't actually born before the PG-13 era. Yes, there were just plain old totally gratuitous teen sexploitation "films" like Porky's but has she never seen a "serious" romantic film from the era? "An Officer and a Gentleman," (or pretty much any Richard Gere film) "Blue Lagoon," "Endless Love," etc etc etc
Before the PG-13 unless you were specifically making a movie aimed at kiddies you didn't shy away from realistic portrayals for grown-ups, including language, sex, and yes, nudity. Now everything gets puritanized with laughable and distracting crap like grown men not-quite-swearing (no more "Yippie ki yay, Motherf**ker!") or the fact that all women apparently like to keep their bras on during sex.
I, for one, would be very happy to see them go back to letting movies marketed to adults actually be FOR adults and stop watering everything down.
