I'm ignorant on this, but how does one tweet from prison? I watched every episode of Oz and no one was tweeting, or blogging, or facebooking, or infographicing.
rblancarteApr 19, 2011
Clearly this is just a joke, however this is a big problem in Texas, they are passing laws about it.
Basically what happens is that family members or friends set up the accounts outside of prison and with names that HOPEFULLY don't alert the authorities. Then they smuggle a cell phone along with the log in credentials to inmates. As long as that phone is hidden, all is good.

I have always wondered how does one charge a cell phone in prison? Do the cells have electrical outlets? if so cut the power to it. phone will be dead in a few short days. Having never been to prison I will admit I am woefully ignorant on day to day prison life.

Even in Maximum Security facilities, there is an outlet in the cell. This provides power for their cable television and hotpot as well as other illegal items (phones, tattoo guns, lighters, etc.) Before I left that job, they were selling DS units to the prisoners. This is a direct benefit to the local states who sell these products and food on commissary. Money for commissary is normally payed for by the family of the offender or working inside prison ($.10 an hour).

seems to me s**t like an ipod or ds would be a great way to keep an inmate occupied and out of trouble. better at least than letting them pump iron 7 days a week and transforming into the incredible hulk.

he should at least be in a Scary Movie long enough to slaughter a bunch of popular tv/movie vampires...
darthmeatloafApr 20, 2011
Except if he were in Scary Movie, there would be one vampire he refuses to kill, and then he'd take his jacket off to reveal a "Team Edward" t-shirt...

First Wesley, next a few CEOs... they're coming after them too right? If he got three years, they'll have to get hundreds of years, right?!
prettyboyfloydApr 19, 2011
Naw, Wesley took the fall for Wall Street. Wesley gets three years in prison for the same crime committed by Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, Senator Tom Daschle and Congressman Charles Rangel.
