Even if it's disturbing, it's still far less disturbing than the actual Lady Gaga is.
Schweppesale2Jun 27, 2011
I was thinking the same thing.

Weird Al is a good guy. I'm glad he's doing well, and the new model for selling music (track-based transactions) suits him.
sanmanJun 27, 2011
haha, I thought he looked hilarious in this
didn't seem to be his actual body, but just his face mapped onto some gals' bodies thru CG magic
wassamattaJun 27, 2011
That is correct. He did have to dress up for the close ups though.

Folks, if you haven't been to his live shows yet, you are TOTALLY MISSING OUT.
Also, probably one of the few concerts you can go to and see entire families in attendance... with *every* single person in the family singing along.
Oh, yeah, and the Yoda Chant. ;)

Been to 3 shows, and going to the show in Toronto in July with my 6 year old son. Should be a lot of fun.

Is it MORE disturbing than the video it's parodying?
That's the problem with labeling any parody "disturbing"
nonmagicalJun 27, 2011
Not a big fan of the CGI in that video, sadly. His head looks like it is floating.
gwodusJun 27, 2011
If this is disturbing for you, then you are not more then 5 years old.

As a life-long fan of his, I've been looking forward to this album for a long time. And after reading through his blog entries regarding the Lady Gaga Saga, I was expecting SO much more from the video. I expected far more wacky costumes than a bee suit, or caution tape. I think the Taj Mahal hat was definitely the craziest. I was hoping for far funnier. It IS disturbing though.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

I think he nailed it. You have very high expectations from people.
theexitwoundJun 26, 2011
Did you read his Blog describing his fantastic ideas? I think they were mediocre at best.
UncleTogieJun 26, 2011
As a life-long worker, I've found that some days my job isn't done at 100%. It's done well enough to bill for {and be happily paid for}, but I felt it wasn't done at my peak potential. You may have had days like that with your job, too. Artists are no different.
theexitwoundJun 26, 2011
You're acting like I've blasphemed against all that is good. His stuff is typically top notch (White & Nerdy, Eat it..., Jurassic Park) but this is mediocre. *shrug*
platypusrexJun 26, 2011
The Weird Al concert I went to had 4 cops there, they really didnt need any. The only black person there was one of the cheer leaders in the "Smells like Nirvana" song.
It was the safest place on the planet. Safer than Barnes and Nobles.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
