Having seen someone being beheaded by the Taliban on the internet, I doubt this is worse.

Who the f**k pukes because of what they see in a horror movie? No matter how gross the imagery it's already known that it's fake so what gives? I've come closer to puking watching someone eat a booger off a spoon, never a horror movie. Silly bastards.
Donuts4UJan 31, 2012
The article explains that the shaky film/ homemade style can be nauseating to watch. From what I've read the movie itself isn't any more gory than any other horror movie.
evildeadashJan 31, 2012
This is what i get for not paying attention. I think i'm gonna throw up! :/

so pretty much like Clover Field?
Donuts4UFeb 1, 2012
Never saw it. Probably from what I heard about cloverfield, Heard it sucked?

The "planted" guy who freaks out at a screening because someone is REALLY media savvy.
publikjohn9Jan 31, 2012
I bet it isn't as bad as "A Serbian Film" the uncut version.
raidy11moonFeb 1, 2012
Nothing is as bad NOTHINGGG! is as bad as a "A Serbian Film"
RujabesFeb 1, 2012
I swear it's like the same five people hired to freak out in the middle of a screening...
Our culture has been scared by 3 films about Paranormal Furniture Slightly Moving for the past few years...I doubt this is that unsettling.
vitriolandangstFeb 1, 2012
I've never had the urge to watch the "Paranormal Furniture Slightly Moving" series.
Saw III didn't even have video of people getting scared in the theater right in their promo -- the greatest creativity in those paranormal furniture films has GOT to be the marketing.
Donuts4UFeb 1, 2012
They were ok until they got too silly. I can understand the hype with the first one, it was unique. Paranormal and saw both.

first movie to make people barf since "the notebook".

"The lurid accounts of movie-goers passing out will no doubt lead some to suspect that this may have been an attempt to court publicity - but the film's production team insist what happened was real."
Yeah right! Film makers are always trying to find ways to get people interested in their movies.
Its like when the Coen brothers described FARGO as a "based on actual events" story, when it wasn't. They just knew people would be more intrigued if they said it was.
Still, I am curious now about this V/H/S film
JollyMacJan 31, 2012
Sadly, this kind of s**t is becoming a trend...
16x9Jan 31, 2012
It's been a problem for a while. I had the same reaction while being forced to watch "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood". That was 10 years ago and I still have nightmares.

my neighbor's mom makes $70 every hour on the laptop. She has been out of work for 10 months but last month her check was $7555 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Here's the site to read more http://ddp.net/dgz
vitriolandangstFeb 1, 2012
Santorum's kids could handle this movie.
archfiend001Feb 1, 2012
Well, you can add one more person to the list who is not going to see this movie because of it's retarded marketing....since when did having seizures and vomiting equal great movie?
vhargamhoraJan 31, 2012
Hrm, now Im a little too curious to see this for myself; can't be any more bizarre than Videodrome or any worse than trying to get through The Human Centipede. Besides, if you are used to surfing around the depths of the web, you tend to become desensitized.

damn..they must not have ever seen saving pvt ryan....if he vomited cause this he'd probably pass out during the beach landing scenes in spr.
talentedmoronJan 31, 2012
I don't understand why on earth would someone pay to watch a sick s**t like this? What is wrong with you people? As if there is not enough gorgeous s**t going around the world, we need to pay to watch some gross non-sense. You wanna see s**t? Go watch executions in middle east, go watch beheading a poor contractor in Afghanistan . . .Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
bookantJan 31, 2012
I know, right. People are so sick now-a-days, not like the good old days. And it's not just movies. I went to a play the other night and it was all about this dude who like killed and own dad and banged his own mom . . . and then he gouged his own eyes out! What the f**k is wrong with people today!

Ever see a picture of a lynching? The whole town came out in their sunday best to watch a man or woman who they deemed to be a lesser form of life being hanged from a tree until they died. Then they would gather around the corpse for a Kodak moment. Ever hear of the DAY that 20,0000 people were sacrificed, had their hearts ripped out, and had their corpses thrown down a temple? If people in 2012 get a thrill/chill from watching The Blair Witch Project or V/H/S, I dont think that really rates as high on the "What is wrong with you people" list.
"We live in violent times"...tell that to Genghis Khan, Stalin, and the Roman Empire.
