If I remember correctly, Putting on the Ritz is referencing the culture of the 1920's, when blackface was not uncommon, so using that in the video, while a bit shocking I suppose to some, is actually accurate with the subject matter.
Honestly, other than Closer, which really is a messed up video (but a great song), the rest of the list isn't that great. Just because a video is a bit messed up, doesn't make it PI. The entire reason Shock the Monkey is on there is because 3 dwarfs are attacking Peter Gabriel? Madonna has had enough crazy videos to fill out most of this list on her own...
