You are commenting on the movie based on the race and nothing else. If some Tom cruise was doing the same stuff you would have awed urself to death. I have seen the movie and as a person from India, this is one of the best movie I have seen in a long time. And it was made at a cost of 30 million dollars.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

That was badass for a robot with the hairstyle of a skunk.
TopFitness1Jan 28, 2011Submitter
Ahaha good point!
kilobobaJan 28, 2011
I totally watched that movie in a Bollywood theater High&Drunk off my balls, and had no Idea what I was getting into. I laughed so hard that I had an 8-pack that would punch Bruce Lee!
kilobobaJan 28, 2011
It was 3 hours long with an intermission, get prepared for it! It is easily on my top 10 favorites list! If not #1...........0010100101001110010101101001! LOL
TopFitness1Jan 28, 2011Submitter
Lmaooo!....i've never seen something so awesome either
cikas47Jan 28, 2011
Netflix please!
meekotheraccoonJan 29, 2011
Netflix is aware of it, you can "save" it to your queue, for all the good that does.
nmpraveenJan 28, 2011
its indeed a nice film. Story goes like robot starts to love human after 'emotions" program were installed to it. and later it tries to take over the world for that girl.
iohbotJan 28, 2011
This has about as much to do with science fiction as astrology does to astronomy.
nairebisJan 30, 2011
Nearly all science fiction is fantasy disguised as science. You could substitute a magic wand and the stories would basically be the same. I can think of a couple of exceptions, but there aren't many, even among the "hard science" writers.
The fact is, real science imposes so many restrictions on reality that it pretty much dooms the plot.
iohbotJan 30, 2011
True, a good example being Inception and the shared dream machine, but the genius of that (given the plot) is the whole thing may have just been somebody's subconscious fantasy anyway. I'd still classify it as sci-fi.
Having this stupid rubbish described as "the only science fiction film you need to watch for the rest of your life" particularly annoyed me. Clearly the reviewer at Gizmodo is a moron to describe it as such.
prestonoJan 28, 2011
So when will SyFy be showing it?
TopFitness1Jan 28, 2011Submitter
I wish I knew!
entangledphysxJan 30, 2011
After they cancel all the only good scifi shows and after wrestling.
Ra_HerakhtyJan 28, 2011
After watching this movie, you would probably want to claw your eyes out :P
rowlodgeJan 28, 2011
the girl needs to make more movies here too.
karthvaderJan 28, 2011
It's actually a Kollywood movie, but I won't force the issue. Looks like one of those movies that you don't tell anyone that you saw it, but it is actually a secret, guilty pleasure.
tamahome2Jan 29, 2011
Actually, Bollywood should be called Mollywood.
aladinsaneJan 29, 2011
Oh, you won't "force the issue." How kind of you. Thanks, man. I mean, that's probably the bravest thing anyone has done all year. It's right up there with when I didn't insist that everyone acknowledge that Terminator 3 was actually filmed in Canada. Aren't we wonderful people, for only being only SLIGHTLY pedantic and pretentious?Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
cstaylorJan 29, 2011
Oh grow up.
emrys7Jan 30, 2011
Yeah seriously dude, calm down.

"Aren't we wonderful people, for only being only SLIGHTLY pedantic and pretentious"
Irony.
aladinsaneJan 30, 2011
Ah, I should have realized that Digg is absolutely FILLED with pseudo-intellectual halfwits that think repeating minor irrelevant points that they read off the original source article makes them Super Geniuses. Sorry I offended you, guys. Go back to congratulating yourselves on the fact that you read "Kollywood, not Bollywood" in the main article, then repeated it back here as though the distinction actually mattered to anyone.
cstaylorJan 30, 2011
Yeah, that's probably not what happened at all. And even if it was, you're a bigger douche.
MarleybonezJan 28, 2011
Hahaha! That clip is hilarious. I'd say it's a comedy flick not science fiction.
neondistractionJan 28, 2011
I see the foreign directors are starting to follow the lead of Michael "Explosions give me boners" Bay.
UnderdogDirectoJan 28, 2011
amazing! And the clip being in Russian? Fantastic! Why on earth would I need to know what was going on, obviously he is a robot or something and he has the same powers as Magneto - which all robots do
goospoosJan 29, 2011
Hehehe!! It's Robot from India!!

Looks fun, but I really wish the "Wilhelm Scream" would just stop being used.
aladinsaneJan 29, 2011
It wouldn't matter to you if you didn't spend so much time chasing down trivia on the Internet. 99% of movie goers have no idea what the Whilhelm Scream even is.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
feragoJan 29, 2011
What's to know? I'm sure after a while they realize that they've heard that same stupid sound effect in every action movie.
cstaylorJan 29, 2011
I hadn't, until I googled it just now.
celestial01Jan 29, 2011
I've just wasted my time watching that video.
alienmushroomJan 29, 2011
I guess it's the first movie Gizmodo employees ever watched.

The terminator guy kinda looks like John Belushi in his Blues Brothers outfit. "Hey, we're getting the band back together!"
suzillaJan 30, 2011
Thanks for saving me from every having to watch the whole thing.
