Agreed. Also note:
1) It's really only an autocorrect FAIL if you typed a real word correctly and it changed it to something else. Even if they're not faked, a lot of "autocorrect fails" (e.g. paid->laid) are probably just typos followed by people blaming their phone instead of their sausage fingers.
2) Note that in about half of these, the person with the "fail" is the person on the other end of the conversation from the iPhone. Who knows what kind of phone those people have??

i know i use the google g2 and with the swype texting it messes me up all the time. but things like masturbate from masters and also blt and bj.. bj wouldnt be in the autocorrect unless its programmed in.

I believe it. I've had my phone correct to some pretty ridiculous words. Also, it will FINISH words for you... as in add more letters to the end. Typically it wont make ridiculous mistakes like that unless you misspell the word in the first place...which is very easy to do.
