In some ways it's a really good thing that AD got cancelled. It never had a chance to get lame and jump the shark (like the Office), so it will ALWAYS be revered as a brilliant show from beginning to end.

Though I ADORE Arrested Development I can see how it was destined to fail on network TV. Now that it's on DVD you can rip through the whole series in a month comfortably and not miss anything, but it really does punish you for missing a week or even going too long between episodes which is an issue with network TV.
