I know it's just a movie, but I just can't buy the premise of apes taking over the planet. Even if they've been made smarter than us, they just don't have the numbers. There are maybe 500,000 apes if you go by the most optimistic estimates. Compare that to almost 7 billion humans and they'd be lucky to take over central Africa.
