I can't help but think of these pictures as having been taken a few weeks before deployment to a prestigious position on the newly-completed Death Star.
Real happiness for Stormtroopers would be to NOT appear in a George Lucas movie where they get their asses handed to them by a bunch of primitive little teddy bears with bows and arrows.
