It kind of sucks that they are canceling The Event. I have a love/hate relationship with that show. I just hope that they wrap it up nicely.

I doubt you'll see any more. It won't come back to wrap anything up. Too bad it got boring pretty quick. Not to mention the lack of character development. I know I didn't care about any of the characters.

Actually, I believe they have 1 more episode that is airing next week. That was what I was referring to. If it's the last show, I hope they end it in a way that finalizes it.
Unlike V, which I learned was also canceled. The season finale of that show was a cliffhanger. They killed off Dianna, the original character, and it looked like Marc Singer, also an original, was going to play a part in season 3.

hmm, I don't think the first show mentioned is going to make it; the show that starred Helen Mirren on BBC isn't worth squat without Mirren. Now, the show with Anjelica Huston, Debra Messing, and KP produced by Speilberg may have a shot, although obviously there isn't a base for a long term run, at least not IMHO.
