Every classically trained musician sorely wishes that a law would be passed limiting the number of trills and turns and embellishments allowed during a vocal performance of the anthem.
Also, it's a scientifically proven fact that the more voices you have singing in unison, the more likely it is that the ensemble will reach perfect pitch.

I don't agree with his politics, but Ted Nugent played the best version of the Star-Spangled Banner I have ever heard at the Rams/Dolphins game on Christmas Eve in 1995.
