I've been thinking that since its obvious that bane is going to stage a prison break they should have a scene where Bane is busting out inmates at arkham and have a profile shot of the joker sitting in a dark cell with his face covered by a shadow. Have Bane going down the line opening cells letting out inmates then have him pass over the jokers cell with some comment in passing about how crazy he is and have the joker let out his signature laugh.
I highly doubt they are going to just pretend that he never existed in the film. Its obvious he didn't die in the dark knight so why wouldn't they make some reference even in passing.

And you do? That's funny. Actually more funny that the Onion in it's entirety. The Onion fan base consists of a circle jerk of social inept people who believe that their humor is the best and isolate themselves to feel superior in their insecurities. Clear signs of the circle jerk includes "you just don't have a good sense of humor" and "you just don't get it". Case and point your comment. My sense of humor is just fine and the Onion still isn't funny. If I want good satire I'll watch a rerun of Seinfeld. Have fun at the circle jerk buddy.
