I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to write around that. You just saw her helicopter blow up. Maybe she bailed out before... maybe her spirit was captured and could be downloaded into another Avatar body or maybe she shows up in the spirit world, etc;

Depends how they grow the clones. Let assume they clone the brother after he is killed. Unless they can grow the brother at some accelerated rate it would take around 18 year to grow him. Or you can just recruit the twin brother.
It's got to be cheaper to just hire Jake than clone his brother.

I am tired of Avatar, other than the 3D effects it didn't deserve the praise that it got. It's a rinsed out remake of 50 other movies with the same plot.

It doesn't need 50 twists, there is lots of true historical events that were never made into film, but instead they make movies on cartoonish characters.
