I'd be interested in seeing another Terminator if Schwarzenegger was the star in it.. Just to see if he could pull it off.

It looks like that's the direction they're headed in. I love the franchise so I'm really hoping they can pull it off. That being said, I wish Cameron would do a sequel to True Lies reuniting the original cast, or at least the core.

I would DEFINITELY be interested in another True Lies movie. Also, just to see if they can all pull it off. Is Tom Arnold even alive still?

He might still be breathing, but his career is on life support.

what more can they do in a terminator movie that hasn't already been done?
smiley09May 14, 2011
Reboot it, and make it darker.

And title it "Terminator"

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I loved the Terminator movies as a kid, but can't Hollywood come up with some original ideas? I'm sick of all these rebbots and stretched out sequels.

and origin stories. I hate origin stories. Do they really think I need to be reminded of the origin of Spiderman every 20 months as if I forgot or something?
barackalypseMay 14, 2011
All the origin stories Hollywood puts out for all time are worth it just based on the Christian Bale Batman ones.

I'll concede that the Dark Knight series has been incredible but rebooting Spiderman.. again... isn't.

Dear Megan Ellison and Justin Lin: Please don't f**k this up like Mostow and McG did.
Sincerely, every T1 and T2 fan ever.
And probably James Cameron. If he still gives a s**t.

Probably read the article so you understand what is going on before commenting. It would really help matters.
This isa bidding war for the rights to produce the movies. This is how things have worked in Hollywood pretty much from day 1.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

I'm confused how a trilogy that grossed $1.4 billion in theaters and only cost $476 million to make ends up in bankruptcy.
"The auction at the time was for a guarantee for at least half of the $29.5 million paid by hedge fund Pacificor to pull the franchise out of bankruptcy."
