A lot of reboots lately have been awesome. But I agree with the first part of what ninh said. I hate the fact that they made 3 spiderman movies with the Tobey McGuire and now they're changing.
I understand why, but I still hate it.

I'm all for nostalgia and stuff but I dont really understand the hate behind new movies.
Either
a) It sucks, you dont have to go see it and your life is not really changed in any noticeable way.
or
b) On the off chance that it is good it becomes a movie that you go see and enjoy.
Its a win-nolose scenario .

If everything about this movie goes wrong, if every single wrong decision is made, if Andrew Garfield can't act at all - as long as it doesn't have a scene with emo Peter Parker dissing his old girlfriend Cabaret-style - it will still be the third best Spider-Man movie ever made.

I feel sad that I actually own both X-men 3 and Spider-man 3... The reason is that I didn't see either in the theatre, and I wanted to complete the set.

Looks pretty good, I like the fact that the movie has its own version of the costume, especially the gloves. And although Garfield does look a little too skinny to be Spider-Man, it doesn't really matter from the looks of it.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

I think the guy looking a little skinny at first is good. It can show his development/growth as Spider-Man in the later movies by having him put on more muscle.
The costume looks cool, but I hope they don't mess with the style of the facemask too much. I think that needs to stay almost all red with the black web design.

I'm really interested in this one. I thought the first spider-man was just ok. I didn't like the green goblin in the first. The second was great, loved that one, and the third.. well i try not to think about the third.

they strung out the last spider man further than it should have gone. now they are making another one?? They will prob make tons of money, ill give them that. But i doubt it will be any good

I don't know about this new costume. Stick with what works!
But then again I wasn't a fan of the weird webbing design on Raimi's Spiderman, until I saw it in theaters.
However that design was really faithful to the original, this ones is just . . . weird.
