X-Men: "The X-Men films are great. The series was great as kid, maybe I should re-watch it?" Don't! It will ruin the films for you. And your memories... misty water-coloured memories of Professor Xavier's weird voice.
f**k the films. 1st one was decent 2nd one was ok 3rd was complete s**t and WO is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
At least the cartoon series attempted to stay close to the source material.
neotechniJun 30, 2011
I still like the cartoon. The 3rd one wasnt written by Solid Snake like the first 2, that's why it sucked.
protogenxlJun 30, 2011
The Cartoons blew the films out of the water.
alecsputnikJun 30, 2011
bill & ted's excellent adventure the cartoon, i just rewatched the first episode on netflix and i cringed at the entire thing.

I never saw the show as a kid, but I, too, was curious when it appeared on Netflix, and I, too, had pretty much the exact same reaction. My God... So bad... So... Just downright offensive.
alecsputnikJun 30, 2011
all the jokes were from the movie, the art was terrible. plot had huge holes in it, i was so disappointed!
casbarJun 30, 2011
What an idiot. Don't bother reading this.

Star Trek: HELL YEAH!!

*DS9
UncleTogieJun 30, 2011
"A moron who can't spell somehow managed to suggest that DS9 was a 'kid's show'. He's already been retrained, given a padded helmet, and now is properly assigned to ride the little bus to school."
darkphenoxJun 30, 2011
Lame. Deep Space 9 was good, it is my second favorite series after TNG and before TOS, it made just as much sense as every other Star Trek series, it had a darker tone and story arcs.
neotechniJun 30, 2011
DS9 sucked. It violated all of Roddenberry's rules
ffs they made it religious.
AnonanimalJun 30, 2011
Roddenberry's completely ridiculous, unrealistic rules of utopia. DS9 just came out and said, yeah, it's really retarded that no one on the Enterprise uses the hollodeck for sex. Here on DS9 we do. Yes, it's completely retarded that humans have no interpersonal conflict now, and are boring autonomotrons like Picard who is shown doing nothing but quietly reading Shakespeare alone in his cabin during the long weeks between fights with aliens.
DS9 is much more interesting, and definitely better written than the other series. It just doesn't have all the "likable" characters that the others do.
darkphenoxJun 30, 2011
Just because it broke Roddenberry's rules does not mean it is not quality. The story arcs were fantastic and I felt In the Pale Moonlight was the best episode straight up episode of Star Trek. I didn't feel they made it religious, there were aliens some people worshiped as gods but only 2 main characters viewed them as such, and one was only in later seasons.

The Odyssey? I thought I was the only person who watched that show, and I'm Canadian
drunkclamJun 30, 2011
This is such a stupid list, and DS9 is some of the best Star Trek made. WTF is wrong with this person?
hero0ftimeJun 30, 2011
Go back and try to watch Fred Wolf's animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". Cringe worthy. I could barely make it through an ep.
travelsonicJun 30, 2011
I disagree, but will digg for showing the balls to express that opinion. :D
agmlauncherJun 30, 2011
Ren & Stimpy is probably funnier now than when I was a kid.
meribianJun 30, 2011
That was back when sex joke were in cartoons because we realized that they flew over the kids' heads. I've returned to some cartoons that I remembered as a kid and I never noticed the dirty stuff.
One example is 2 Stupid Dogs. They go to a drive-in and are parked facing the opposite direction and the little dog says "This is boring. Why do people even come here?" and then all of the other cars start bouncing.
user500Jun 30, 2011
I thought they all sucked the first time around.
meribianJun 30, 2011
This list lost all credibility when I saw X-Men on there. Sometimes it comes on and I watch it every single time. I'm 25 now and it's still one of the best cartoons made.
X-Men Evolution, however....is complete f**king s**t.

What about Benji and the Alien Prince?
shenerdJun 30, 2011
I feel that way about the cartoon of The Hobbit. Loved it as a kid so I bought it when it came out on DVD. What a disappointment that was...
