No problem buddy!

There's that.. plus he got the funniest looks from everyone he met ...AND, was too busy singing to put anybody down.
He was definitely a believer and a dreamer. Some would say he was a Daydream Believer.

:-( RIP, Davy.
rshewmakerFeb 29, 2012
I used to love to watch the Monkees when I was little.
jsnchmpnMar 1, 2012

Who's gonna man up and break the news to Marsha B.?
bobosmitorFeb 29, 2012
Oh no. I liked him. Very sad.
TheQueenofOKFeb 29, 2012
Oh no! Sad news! I loved Davy Jones!
bobbackwardsFeb 29, 2012
RIP Davy. The Monkees made some pretty good music in their heyday.
But then we all have to die of something sometime. Maybe it was a blessing that, like his sort-of contemporary John Stewart, the end came quickly rather than excruciatingly.
ErikHaFeb 29, 2012
Let's all get shoulder to shoulder and do the infamous Monkees walk.

So sad.
I loved the TV show and went to two of their reunion concerns up at Red Rocks back in '85 and '86. They were *awesome*...it was like stepping back into the '60s.
He will be missed.
insomniax2Mar 1, 2012
I remember watching them on Saturday mornings when I was a kid. Always wanted the Monkeemobile GTO!
http://www.dialbforblog.com/archives/438/monkeemobile2.jpg
"Monkeemobile designer Dean Jeffries recalls, "We put a 6-71 supercharger on the engine in the first car and solidly mounted the rear axle. We also put weights in the rear so it would wheelstand. It had too much power for the suspension and was a difficult car to drive, so we took off the blower and installed a dummy blower so it looked the same."

I will miss Davy Jones, As a Teen I was in love with him and wanted to marrie him. But I still got a good man Thank you GOD.
odkinFeb 29, 2012
I always preferred Mickey Dolenz's songs, but it's sad when the first of a group dies- there'll never be another reunion.
The_SovereignFeb 29, 2012
I'm actually kind of excited! :D
anomaly100Feb 29, 2012
I actually saw them play when they toured many, many years after their stardom hit. Sniff...

anomaly100Feb 29, 2012
That's what it was, a reunion. I couldn't think of the word for it (D'oh!). It was fun though. I had a great time.
particleman420Feb 29, 2012

R.I.P Davy Jones a legend who will always stay in our hearts here is one of his very old videos where he is auditioning for the Monkees http://liveoncampus.com/wire/show/3345642
publikjohn9Feb 29, 2012
Davy is the monkey I disliked the most. Probably had something to do with his british accent. No big loss.
The_SovereignFeb 29, 2012
What a heartwarming story.
Compelling and rich.
The_SovereignFeb 29, 2012
Woohoo! :D I hated those f**kers and their f**king lame show!

"Alright, its the interwebs! I can say what ever insane thing I want because I are a troll!!!"
Stay classy, kid.

Other than your AWFUL spelling, you're absolutely right! :D
Isn't this a wonderful "place"?

Aaaaaand kaegro still hasn't figured it out. Burying a trolls comments or saying something to the troll isn't how you deal with it. Wanna know how you deal with it? Do neither of those things. When they check their comments and see no replies coupled with a lot of -0/+0, they'll eventually leave or commit suicide.
kaegroMar 1, 2012
I like trolling trolls.
meribianMar 1, 2012
Except you aren't doing that.
kaegroMar 1, 2012
Sure I am.
