blastr.com — Star Trek fans, it's time to cross your fingers. Why? Because we may finally get that new Trek TV series we've all been waiting for, and it could happen sooner rather than later IF the geek-empowered dynamic duo of Bryan Fuller and Bryan Singer can have their way.

I will have no life if this happens.

captswuitsFeb 7, 2012
Touche.
dedtargetFeb 7, 2012
But this version will have less tea Earl Grey Hot.
a2fanFeb 7, 2012
and less Holo Deck BS shenanigans. (please)
neondistractionFeb 7, 2012
I want to be excited about this, but man was Enterprise terrible.
satori3000Feb 7, 2012
I think you just channeled every fan's feelings... close up the comments, we're done.
jarogersFeb 7, 2012
Actually enterprise got really good after a few seasons.. But it did take some getting used to.
drunkclamFeb 7, 2012
The last season was great, the 3 episode arcs set a pace that really works in television and isn't really used anywhere else.
neondistractionFeb 8, 2012
Except when DS9 did it frequently. And better, I might add.
grabateFeb 7, 2012
If Abrams gets on board it'll be 40 minutes of lens flares.
michaelpintoFeb 6, 2012
I hope so — I hate waiting over a year for each movie!
theboiFeb 7, 2012
bring bk the x files aswell
wolfingFeb 7, 2012
but will it be Star Trek? The tendency of today is for less brain, more blood and drama, which is not really what Star Trek is about. But whatever, at this point I'll take anything, it's been too long since Enterprise

Ring me when the return of Firefly is closer than I think.
a2fanFeb 7, 2012
Hey, let's reboot Space: 1999 while we're at it.
dedtargetFeb 7, 2012
Don't forget Babylon 5.
a2fanFeb 7, 2012
I'm with you as long as it has nothing to do with SyFy.
satori3000Feb 7, 2012
Maybe this news will over Shadow Captain Crazy Pants latest fiasco http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/star-trek-deep-space-nine-actor-avery-brooks-charged-with-dui-in-connecticut/2012/02/02/gIQABr8EkQ_story.html
taiyoryuFeb 8, 2012
As long as the Federation isn't the center of the story, then yes, I might look forward to it.

"Because we may finally get that new Trek TV series we've all been waiting for..."
I don't know anybody who's waiting for a new Trek series... Other than Hollywood televsion producers who want to make some money by foisting a sub-rate television genre onto some-virginal fan-boys who wouldn't know their ass from a hot rock.
I'm saying this and I was a Star Trek fan... But then I finally lost my virginity. But seriously, the dribble the television shows are are just insulting. The first two seasons of TOS were great. The last few seasons of NG were great. STE had some nice episodes... The rest was just wasted airtime.
drunkclamFeb 7, 2012
I wont watch it if Singer is involved, did you ever see what he wanted to do with a Battlestar Galactica reboot? Thank god that never happened and Ron Moore did it instead. In fact the only person I would trust with Star Trek now is Ron Moore. No Brannon, no Braga, no Abrams, certainly no Singer or Fuller.
sneboldFeb 7, 2012
I think Star Trek is played out. There's more to science fiction than spaceships and aliens.
a2fanFeb 7, 2012
Yes, spaceships with sexy aliens.
chadpyleFeb 7, 2012
A Cosmos reboot on the horizon and now this? I may actually have an excuse to keep my cable subscription.
lvaneedeFeb 7, 2012
It has to be at least as good as Voyager and DS9
maxya123Feb 7, 2012
Please, no!

ou don't exist! I don't exist either! At least we don't exist in the way that we think we do. We're simulated beings, maybe wetware simulated (as in someone else's dream), more likely as not software simulated, like the characters in a video game. http://discountjewelryonline.dinstudio.com/diary_4.htmlComment is buried, click here to see the rest.
