hellobosNov 9, 2010

thefirewireNov 10, 2010
Watch the entire thing here http://www.tbs.com/video/conan.jsp?oid=233887&eref=sharethisUrl
lets get Coco back on top!!!!
breakspiritNov 10, 2010
I will digg this comment on the condition that "killed it" means that he did well. I laughed heartily and loudly many times.
whokilledfleaNov 10, 2010

Meanwhile, Jay Leno's ratings keep sliding to record lows. Bold strategy, NBC.
mrdonNov 9, 2010
Jay Leno will get what he deserves his ratings will tank and so will he
darkshroudNov 9, 2010
Jay Leno wasn't the one at fault for the whole mess. He didn't want to leave in the first place but was still forced out. It was the fools running NBC who will go down in history for this giant mess. I pray Comcast fires all of them. Look at that the NBC board are such screw ups they make Comcast the good guy.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

So... Another boring show which is pimping new movies,. books, CD's and what not
Almost every guest on these shows have a new product to sell, a new CD that was released or a new movie coming out shortly... (Here is a small sample...) go and see/watch/buy crappy product X which my guest has just released.
Do we really need another hour of commercials badly disguised as entertainment?Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
ventralnetNov 9, 2010
I am not sure if you understand the point of late night.. or interviewing in general. The interviewee does it for free because they have something to promote.

I understand perfectly well that I have no interest in watching extended commercials like this - I find them utterly boring.
So, can anyone tell me what was sold and pimped of products on the first show? It's just a different type of infomercials.
In general, US TV is an endless stream of commercials, briefly interrupted by news, weather, sport and drama.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

I like how you think we all dont know this.
ventralnetNov 9, 2010
That isn't just US TV. All TV is supported by ad revenue.. I think you may have a mild case of mental retardation.

Really Ventralnet...
I could've sworn I watched all three free practices, qualifying race and post race forum from the Brazilian Formula 1 this weekend on BBC and not a single commercial was shown during the oh 10-12 hours of Formula 1...
ventralnetNov 16, 2010
Yes how many ads were on the cars or on the track?

dcjoedogv2Nov 9, 2010
It was an awesome, show, I haven't watched late nite talkshow since his firing, and am so happy he's back on the air.
johnomazzNov 9, 2010
I loved Conan on NBC, and I will love him on TBS even if its the only thing I watch on TBS. He was great last night.
dcjoedogv2Nov 9, 2010
They should rename it the seth mcfarlane network, have you seen the amounts of family guy and american dad they show on that channel?
ericschc1Nov 9, 2010
Something's gotta offset the 6+ hours dedicated to Saved By The Bell, Yes Dear, According To Jim, King Of Queens and Tyler Perry's Diary-Of-A-Crossdressing-Mad-Black-Stereotype-A-Thon-Family.

thanks dude!

Coco is back
hellobosNov 9, 2010
am I the only one that felt as if it wasn't that great of a debut? Nothing really exciting happened on the show last night and to be quite honest, both interviews and guests were kind of meh. hopefully it gets better, but late nite talk shows are starting to become a thing of the pastComment is buried, click here to see the rest.
wolfingNov 9, 2010
it's actually on purpose. It was Conan's night. They wouldn't invite any big stars and steal their shine or Conan's shine. The big stars should start coming now (Tom Hanks today)
studdenfaddenNov 10, 2010
That's not how late night talk shows work.
dcjoedogv2Nov 9, 2010
I f**king KNEW masturbating bear would be the very first gag on the show.
undeadzmobieNov 9, 2010
I thought we would have had to settle for the Self Pleasuring Panda, but it would indeed appear as though Conan got some of his characters back.
schrutefanNov 10, 2010
Suing would just give CoCo more publicity.
honkeycatNov 9, 2010
Apparently, people still believe that Jay Leno makes all the important decisions at NBC.
darkshroudNov 9, 2010
These same people do not understand what contracts are and what happens when you break them.
vgreanoNov 9, 2010
Pretty funny opening actually.
deruthvenNov 9, 2010
#1 This is the most comments I've seen on digg since the change here - and no spam. It's about time.
#2 It was a pretty good first show - not great though. Some real good laughs until the 1st guest. I think the problem was the number of commercial breaks that broke up the flow. There must be more than there used to be. It felt like it was over too soon or shorter than it should have been. Like I said, too many commercial breaks that take away from the show.
qyasogkNov 10, 2010
The reason it felt short is because of the very long intro-story... "Previously on Conan...."
veganvultureNov 9, 2010
Andy needs to go. He is like puberty for that show. Late Night was a great show because it was Conan by himself.
pleadthefifthNov 10, 2010
The Ex-Talk Show Host mask part made me laugh for such a long time
rsechrisNov 10, 2010
Looking forward to the next conan
bayareakingNov 10, 2010
I really like their intro. Coco is like a combination of Scarface and um, someone help me out here :)
everlong5Nov 10, 2010
Jeno Leno is not that funny and his interviews with other celebrities are boring. Conan brings that excitement and the energy. Also Andy Richter is a funny ass sidekick. He doesn't do much but he says pretty funny stuff at the right time. I did not join the conan band wagon, i watched his show when he used to host Late Night. Finally the wait is over, I can watch conan again.
successcodesNov 10, 2010
I love his show Conan :)
