I saw him in person during Conan last week in NY and the guy was hilarious, sad to see he hasn't landed anything concrete yet whereas his boy Kimmel has his own late night talk show, loved him on the Man Show too.

Tosh does a little sports. Colbert has the Sport Report. Comedy wise thats all you can do with sports. Doing a whole show doesn't work. I dont think it ever will. (comedy wise.)

I was going to say the same thing (almost) but you beat me to it. But I definitely agree. Some clips are down right hilarious but to try and make an entire show about sports does not work.

I don't know... Personally, I loved Sports Show. I don't know if it's because I'm just looking for an excuse to listen to Norm's hilarious delivery for a half hour, but it was a very funny show.
Sportsdome was horrible.

The reason I think I have a little more insight is because I am not a sports fan. I dislike sports. And there are a lot of people who aren't into sports. Or are only into their particular sport or their particular team. Because of that every joke needs a back story or long set-up or it doesn't work for a large chunk of the viewers. I watch the show knowing Norm is funny but going "dont know who that is." "dont know who they are." Even if I happen to know a guys name, I don't know that he got in trouble for possession or whatever. Anyway, I hope he tries again with different subject matter.

I love Norm's comedy. Sometimes it falls a bit flat, but overall I get better laughs off his takes on things than most other comedians.

It was Norm doing Weekend Update with sports every week, how can you go wrong? I watched every week, my vlc media player view count in the ratings right? Maybe I am part of the problem.

Nelson ratings only takes in account selected families. They generalize "ratings" based on algorithms. It's stupid, though, as television is now all digital. You'd think they would automate this from all televisions.

Norm is a funny dude I see why they hired him based off his SNL weekend updates. But in reality he's nothing but a gambling addict.
I have no words for SportsDome. That show was awful on a completely new level.
