That is an insulin syringe. The needle is actually built into the syringe. I have a cat with diabetes and the all my needles are bent like that. They can be straitened, but being bent like that does not affect the needle quality.

According to a local station, CPS checked the kid medically before returning here to the mother and found no signed of Botox.

Mom is still a big fat liar who has no problem exploiting her child for profit. In either case she should lose custody IMO or at the very least remain under close scrutiny.

Whoa whoa, I wouldn't condemn a child to foster care so quickly. Yes this mom has a penchant for exploiting her kids. The fact of the matter is she didn't inject the kid and it seems obvious that she has no intentions to physically harm the kid. I was in foster care and its a pool of sickos who can't wait to get their hands on a child. Not only did I face some tough abuse but it was cruel and unusual abuse whereas I had never been hit by my biological family so please think about what you are signing that kid up for before you just holler DHS.

The new pictures that surfaced today and a witness came forward saying she actually did inject the kid. Who's to be believed? Remember, how long ago were those shots before the medial examination? It's entirely possible she already healed up so there was no way to say one way or another she did it or not. If mom is savvy on this stuff she could have known full well there would be no evidence she did it. Conjecture, sure, but in either case we're looking at a bad mother who is exploiting her kid for money. As I said, at a minimum she needs to be under close scrutiny.

First off look at the needle use age, if it was real the kid would be crying her eyes out.
Second what child doesn't want to be on TV? It just looks like a mother in a bad situation trying to do what is best for her child. If you're having financial trouble could you say no to a few hundred to add your name to a story. Or be on TV and go places with your child you never thought either of you could visit for free and make a few thousand?
A very tempting offer to those out of work or under-employed.
