The loser was very gracious, it was quite refreshing for her to keep things in perspective. Even though the "winner" is guaranteed certain things, there aren't really "losers" from shows like this that are about a certain career (there's lots of cooking reality shows that fall into this category). The show furthers all of the contestants careers so they've already gained a lot even if they don't "win."
