I saw him in the 6th show I think.. he blew me away.. I knew instantly he was gonna win. He's soooo good! He sings Ray Charles better than Ray Charles lol.. I've watched his auditions over and over again.. I really can't get enough of this kid. In the top 24 he made J-Lo snort, and he kicked the chair off the stage LMAO. Randy said he's never seen a musician as talented as him ever on the show before..

Since when was singing uncool? Have you seen this dude? I watch American Idol because I find it to be absolutely hilarious. I think it's the funniest show on television because there's usually only 1 or 2 people in the entire competition that can sing. I watch the auditions because it's funny, and this year was the ONLY year out of all 10 seasons that I was actually 'WOW'd by someone. I usually don't ritually watch American Idol but I want to see this kid win. Seriously, watch his audition, and TELL ME you don't love him.

Or, to put it anotehr way...the next person who will be set for life financiallly comapred to people like them who will hang on for another ya or two whoring themselves out for $200 gigs just to squeak by making $8000 a year before giving it up and applying at hte Home Depot.

i guess i don't pay much attention to this show. because i only remember kelly clarkson and carrie underwood winning. other than that i don't know the names of everyone else. because they go on to do nothing after they win.

Kelly didn't really do anything either unless you want to count one bad song that they paid radio stations to play...
Carrie is the only real success of the show but that's mostly because she's a country singer. My sister likes country and didn't know Carrie was from Idol until they said it during a country music awards show.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Was "Idol" ever about the music?
How much money will Cowell make off of Idol this year? In the UK the premium phone lines made Cowell millions in the UK.
Good music is still getting made and played but shows like "Idol" just suck all the oxygen away from that good music and give us Kardashian clones belting out Taylor Dane covers. Good entertainment in it self , but its not good art or good music.
