I always considered The Knack to just be a straight forward rock band. They were neither disco or new wave. They actually seemed to be a rehash and more edgy version of early Beatles music to me.

That's "Get the Knack," not "Got the Knack." I still remember huge versions of the album cover pasted up at Tower Records when it came out.Thanks for the interesting trivia. Two things about his brother that I didn't know.
