He's an idiot and I wouldn't go to one of his shows if he paid me. He was a novelty back in the day for about a minute, but those days are gone.

In Detroit he used to play every New Year's Eve. A local radio station held a contest to find the "best band in Michigan" to open for him. My friend's band won. It was a great gig, playing Joe Louis Arena in front of such a huge crowd and they were well received. Backstage we were all excited after they played, when some security dick walks in the dressing room and says "Mr Nugent congratulates you and would like to meet you"....nope, he says " MR NUGENT WILL BE WALKING BY TO GET TO THE STAGE SO NOBODY LEAVES THIS ROOM UNTIL THAT HAPPENS!!"
The s**tty egomaniac rockstar didn't congratulate them or anything. I think that speaks volumes as to what a dick he is. Not to mention his retarded politics.
