Those were some of the most hilarious scenes on a hilarious show, especially the calzone episode. That is definitely my favorite.
cglassJul 14, 2010
Larry David often voiced him during many of the funny parts, adlibbing as he went. =]

George had to sign off on every script...really shows you what a great man was, willing to have himself made fun of on one of the most popular shows of all time.
Costanza is in this building and hes not in this office! Big Stein wants an Eggplant Calzone!

RIP
George He was a very old friend of mine. I knew him since I was a teen. Two of his best boyfriends were friends of mine and hundreds of mutual friends in common. EVERYONE knew George! We will all miss him...

You must be the oldest person on the internet.

She knew Bob Sheppard when he was a baby
williemainJul 14, 2010
you can tell she's really old because she refers to the man's friends as "boyfriends" and she doesn't mean it in a gay way. My grandmother used to always ask to meet my boyfriends and I would get mad at her and say that I didn't have any boyfriends so she would complain to my parents that I didn't have any friends and that I was a loser.
misslindadeeJul 14, 2010
i did mean it in a gay way
williemainJul 14, 2010

Calzone! I want my Calzone!

i sympathize with your loss, but could you PLEASE not spam this comment on every article about his passing? it kind of cancels out the sentimental value of it and makes you look more as though you're fishing for attention.
best wishes to his friends and family.

He is clearly one of the greatest owners in the history of sports. He certainly may not have always had tact, but he won...and when you're talking about the Yankees, that's the most important thing.

"Ham and cheese again. And she forgot the fancy mustard. I love that fancy mustard. You could put that fancy mustard on a shoe and it would taste pretty good to me. "

Regardless of whether or not everyone knows it, and because I don't give a s**t about what you think, I'm posting the following fact:
Larry David was the voice of Steinbrenner on Seinfeld.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
williemainJul 14, 2010
as a die hard Seinfeld fan, and a self proclaimed expert on the show, (go a head, ask me a question pertaining to the show- I dare you) I do not remember the first clip! Anyone know what it was from? It definitely wasn't on any of the episodes.
stevieraveonJul 14, 2010
Not sure why you're getting dugg down. I have seen every episode countless times and I hadn't seen this either. From the youtube comments (which I believe since it's talking about George's wedding and Elaine's hair was straight in that episode)
This is season 7 finale, but this part wasn't shown on tv only on dvd caose Steinbrenner didn't like that Susan dies in the end, and they had time limit..
williemainJul 14, 2010
I'm getting dugg down because diggers don't like people who make positive self proclamations.

The real Steinbrenner on Seinfeld. The sound is a little messed up, but it's amusing. I love the bit where Elaine and Steinbrenner swap places at the table.

"Hey, check this out. Lou Gehrig's pants. Not a bad fit. Hey, you don't think that nerve disease of his was contagious, do you? Uh, I better take 'em off. I'm too important to this team. Big Stein can't be flopping and twitching!"

"Get better, George. . . get better!"
misslindadeeJul 14, 2010
plenty of people know about it. If U work for the Post RJ would have met GS MANY times and could tell you about his sexual proclivities. It was well known.
