ninjagamesAug 13, 2010
woah I never realized how similar they were
fatlouiAug 14, 2010
if this list is convincing to you, you could probably be convinced that twilight and inception are the same movie.
ninjagamesAug 14, 2010
zomg you're right twilight and inception are the exactly the same
norman619Aug 14, 2010
Actually no they aren't. That's you being swayed by a s**tty article.
ninjagamesAug 14, 2010
I'm not saying they are the same like the article suggests, I'm saying they do have similarities, which is true.
liam2012Aug 13, 2010
The list was okay, but dugg for having an "All" option and not making click through nine freaking pages.
hetmanAug 13, 2010
I hope not. I really did not know much about Scott Pilgrim until recently. However the comic and the movie seem awesome. It has video game, music, and geek references through out the whole thing. I am hoping that it turns out to be good.
h3br3wAug 14, 2010
It's called pandering. And they did a pretty s**tty job of it, honestly.
randomeyesAug 13, 2010
no
vtbarreraAug 13, 2010
Not in a million years.
andrewdbAug 13, 2010
Nine f**king slides?..
Seriously??!
Buried.
kisaAug 14, 2010
Thank God for the 'All' button!
maqikelefantAug 14, 2010
There's no f**king slides if you simply click the "All" button.
subatomicdocAug 14, 2010
Both follow Hollywood formulae that are similar. But it's all in how it's executed that makes the difference.
ivenomiAug 14, 2010
Scott Pilgram > Twilight.
Then again... Twilight < Almost anything.
mmerch4Aug 14, 2010
Pilgrim...and yes I agree.
ivenomiAug 14, 2010
Sorry. =[
mmerch4Aug 14, 2010
>:-[ ....
:-| ....
:-) ....
:-D Forgiven!
thefangedrabbitAug 14, 2010
The difference is that Twilight fans worship the characters, whereas Scott Pilgrim fans realize they aren't people to look up to.
kingbinjiAug 14, 2010
hollywood is the worlds largest recycling center
campcampingstonAug 14, 2010
About 2 of these 9 comparisons have any actual merit. I think the author has only seen the trailers for these movies.
zukussAug 14, 2010
...Narp?
tyrghastAug 14, 2010
I liked the comic, but i hate Michael Cera (a.k.a. Awkward Wooden Plank).
hivoltage815Aug 14, 2010
His comedic timing was brilliant in Arrested Development. I don't know about most of his movies though.
ssomu007Aug 14, 2010
The difference is how they take their role in reality. Difference guys.
brayd1377Aug 14, 2010
One big difference is that you can watch scott pilgrim and not be a total douche
clouds31Aug 14, 2010
Scott Pilgrim was awesome, Twilight has s**t on it.
taylsAug 14, 2010
Hmmm...Scott Pilgrim was not a mumbly mouthed thing in the books. If anything, he was overly confident and a little confused.
briansaloAug 14, 2010
Please forgive these reporters, they haven't eaten in weeks and will write anything for a headline that sells.
chiteau16Aug 14, 2010
Uhhhhh.... NO.
nixpix66Aug 14, 2010
No, I just saw the movie with my Twilight-Obsessed friend, we both loved it. She liked it more than twilight, and having seen them both, I can attest to say that they are very different stories, filmed in completely different styles, with completely different characters, and from a completely different point of view. In short, Scott Pilgrim was incredible.... Twilight was worse than the rabies shots I just got in my ass by two hairy middle-aged women nurses. (but that's a different story... for a different day...)
engrishgamerAug 14, 2010
They're nothing alike...Scott isn't mumbly or passive. He's loud and impulsive. Knives has always been going after Scott. Jacob is some random love interest the author of Twilight put in to keep her mental masturbation interesting. Enemies explode into coins as an homage to videogames. It's a stupid article made simply to rile up Scott Pilgrim fans. Dugg down
fattehboiAug 14, 2010
saw it last night at midnight, so many smelly virgins there, but hey, it was f**king awesome!
(Zelda fairy fountain music FTW)
rockforeverAug 14, 2010
I thought everyone was in agreement that Scott Pilgrim looked lame.
So it goes.
sidioooAug 14, 2010
Not it is not. You are troubled my friend.
carousellerAug 14, 2010
I can't decide which bother me more...Michael Cera irritates the hell out of me mostly irrationally, yes, but Twilight makes me ashamed to be female.
maqikelefantAug 14, 2010
Am I the only one who doesn't understand the incredible amount of hype surrounding Scott Pilgrim? I think it looks painfully lame.
dabekAug 14, 2010
If you've watched Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, or read the Scott Pilgrim books, THEN you'd understand.
SotD or Hot Fuzz because the director of those directed this, and Scott Pilgrim books because... Do I need to go further?
dlan4327Aug 14, 2010
Twilight > Battlefield Earth.
You can't argue against that.
digg2point0Aug 14, 2010
Eeehhhh....
Battlefield Earth has explosions.
Pretty sure that kicks it above Twilight.
dlan4327Aug 14, 2010
But... But.... Scientology!
digg2point0Aug 14, 2010
Twilight and Scientology are equally bad.
But between explosions and sparkly vampires, which would you choose?
libertarianslolAug 14, 2010
the last time I tried to put a greater than sign in front of twilight my bracket key broke
so i switched the inequality around and the other bracket key broke..
dabekAug 14, 2010
The keyboard was trying to tell you something.
irjambyAug 14, 2010
I can definitely argue that.
norman619Aug 14, 2010
Nope. I think Battlefield Earth was much more entertaining than Twilight.
ikaytoAug 14, 2010
INDIE AS F**K
midnightsnackAug 14, 2010
Wait, I've never seen Twilight. I win.
sleapAug 14, 2010
Knives > Ramona
Seriously, what the hell is inside Ramona's vagina to make someone dump a perfect sweet nice innocent girl who is crazy about him and then have to deal with all that s**t.
hated the books, but that was one of the best movies I have ever seen
zenmojoAug 14, 2010
Like Knives kept screaming: Ramona's got a fat old ass.
airwalkeAug 14, 2010
Hmmm... one takes itself too seriously, and the other doesn't. There's your difference right there.
jaconiusAug 14, 2010
Dear Movie Line: f**k you.
hamishcduncanAug 14, 2010
I keep forgetting how f**king rude Taylor Lautner's head is
tjn2104Aug 14, 2010
umm, the problem with Knives was the huge age difference.
As per similarities, about 75% of those mentioned have nothing to do with plot/characters
thenicklovinAug 14, 2010
One key difference: I wouldn't bang Kristen Stewart.
